How to create a Youtube Channel

Hello friends,
My name is Jagvinder Singh, and today I am gonna teach you How to create or setup your Youtube channel for an Individual as well as for a brand or a business(i.e,for a page).

Your channel is your Personal presence on Youtube. Each Youtube account has one channel associate with it. But now Youtube offers more than one channel through one account(New Feature).

Here's the steps for Individual:-

• Go to youtube.com

• And sign in to your Youtube account.

If you have a Google account(i.e, Gmail account, Google Drive account or etc.), then feel yourself as lucky, because google account is same as youtube account.

Why?

Because Youtube is owned by Google.
If you don't have a Google account then don't be nasty, you can create one for yourself and it's free, as well as you can also use other services of google(i.e, Gmail, Drive, etc)

If you don't have any idea how to create google account then check this video out :

• After Sign in to your Youtube account you can see a drop down menu (i.e, All) at the upper left corner and adjacent to Youtube icon. Click on that and choose My channel.

•   It will bring you to a page that will tell you that you are going to set up your channel on youtube. It will also tell you that it will create a Google+ profile for you, if you haven't one. But if you have one then it will associate youtube with that existing profile.

Google+ profile is made and associated with youtube so that if you do any activity on youtube like uploading a video or commenting on other's video, it will post directly to your Google+ profile.

• Now click on continue where you see the page I mention above.

You have successfully make your first channel on youtube. Now you can upload video, comment on other's video and subscribe to other's channel.

Step's for a Brand or for a Business:-

• Go to youtube.com

• And sign in to your Youtube account.

• If you have a page on Google+ pofile for your brand then feel yourself lucky, if you haven't then go to your Google plus profile and at the upper left corner of your profile hover over the Home Tab and select on Pages and make your page for your brand. 

(Note: If you are the manager of a brand or business(e.g, Hotel) you have to verify yourself first by a code send by google.

• Now again jump into your youtube account and goto the tumbnail icon at the upper right corner of the page. Click on that and you can see your Brand listed there.

Since, we are using youtube for a brand we have to click on the brand listed there.

• Another page will appeared and tell us that we are creating a youtube channel for a page/Brand. Click OK on that.

You have now successfully created a youtube channel for your Brand or Business.
